Welcome to Cuan

We are a cancer social support group for anyone who has had,at any time in their life,a cancer diagnosis. The focus of the group is on wellness, emotional support,and wellbeing.We are here to support one another and to offer our support and services to family,friends or relatives of group members, in a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment.

Cuan was formed by a number of people in the Cootehill area, some of whom were cancer survivors, and others who work in community based groups and social fields. A need for the group was identified, as no other such group with the same format existed in the Cavan area.

Cuan, with the much appreciated financial support and help from Cootehll Community Cancer Support Group got set up, running and active in Cootehill in 2012 and in Sept.,2014 we extended our services to Cavan Town. Our group membership is not restricted to people from Co.Cavan, and is open to anyone from surrounding counties.
